Northern Capital

I have been to a northern capital or two

But never the Northern Capital; maybe you?

Efforts are being made as we speak

There is no secret that here I leak

I know little of what I might see

Only a few books have informed me

I know some will say no

Should the day come that I go

Will they ever think differently about

Or like Thomas, will they stubbornly doubt?

People I will meet

Smiles as we greet

Places to explore

So many stories and more

But for now I must wait

I cannot set a date

We have a virus to beat
