My fellow Americans,
Stop these gleeful attacks about our two most recent presidents.
Yes, you on the left and you on the right are guilty. You want to make fun of men in their 70s and how at times their walk is not perfect.
Shut up. Grow up.
The latest immature satisfaction comes from the right; far too many of you enjoyed watching a man in his late 70s struggle to walk up a flight of stairs. Think about that: You enjoyed watching a man in his late 70s struggle to walk up a flight of stairs. This was not some comedy routine from a popular television program. No this was an actual man in his late 70s. And you were mocking him,
Your justification for these feelings? “Well, the left made fun of Trump and how he’d walk down ramps.”
That’s not a justification. That’s spite. And, yes, you on the left should be ashamed of yourselves for relishing the moments when Donald Trump’s walk was not exact.
I’m already anticipating your reply: “Wait. Even you were outraged when Trump made fun of that disabled journalist. So, he had this coming to him.”
The first part of your statement is correct. The second part falls into that same weak, emotion-laden reply from your enemies on the right I mentioned above.
We can argue the policies endorsed by either man; that’s what happens in a country such as ours. But using the natural aging process to score (social media) points is disgusting.
So, yes, shut up and grow up.
