Can’t buy those

Trustworthy? Friendly? Ethical?

No one cares

My value is monetary

To get more, I might have to sacrifice

Be less humble, less kind, less loyal,

Less trustworthy, less friendly, less ethical?

To be richer, I have to be poorer

In that which matters to me

What if society valued its people over…

No, that might be too close to socialism

God help us if we cared about people
